We are a group of Christians striving to worship God and live as Christ lived, here in the Norton, Ohio area. We are not a denomination; rather, we are the church that was prophesied in Old Testament times and was established on the Day of Pentecost in 33 A.D. The way in which we worship the Lord is simple, and based on Bible authority:

Assembling together - Heb. 10:25
Praising God in song, with no mechanical instruments - Col. 3:16
Observing the Lord's Supper every first day of the week - Matt. 26:26-28, Acts 20:7
Taking a collection for the saints, also on the first day of the week - 1 Cor. 16:1-2
Praying - Col. 4:2
Preaching/teaching a lesson from God's Word - Acts 20:7, 1 Cor. 14:26

We understand that the Bible is God's inspired Word, and the only source we have for authority in our worship. It is important that we "speak where the Bible speaks, and be silent where the Bible is silent."

Are you a Christian? That is, are you a member of the body of Christ, having your sins washed away? It's easy to find out. According to Scripture, we are saved if we:

Hear - Rom. 10:17, Matt. 7:24-27
Believe - Heb. 11:6, Mark 16:15-16
Repent - Luke 13:3, Acts 2:38
Confess Christ - Matt. 10:32-33, Acts 8:36-37
Are Baptized - Mark 16:16, Acts 2:38, 22:16, 1 Pet. 3:20-21
Remain faithful - Rev. 2:10
